The Symbolism in Beowulf

Beowulf is an interesting story as it has the meaning that it is firmly rooted in fantasy creatures based on the origin of myth, while providing insight into the religious ideals and practices of that time. It also talks about the struggle between tradition and humanity about what is regarded as evil. Especially in this tradition, Beowulf is an incredible allegory of the fight between good and evil in Christian tradition.
