When I was a child, one of our very intimate families and friends in Israel, Joyce Kleinman (now Wilner) and her sister Rice Kleinman (now Greenbaum) are 15 years old, 12 At the age, he entered the Auschwitz concentration camp. A few years later, Joyce's son, Mr. McWerner, outlined key events that led to the survival of two sisters including mothers Joyce and Aunt Lease and explained the events that occurred during the Holocaust. 6 million Jews were killed.
Many of my recent studies focus on stories spoken by survivors of the Holocaust. In particular, I worked with Jerry Rawicki who survived seven years. After doing a traditional oral history interview, he and I started caring interview and storytelling (Ellis & Rawicki, 2013; Ellis & Patti, 2014; Patti, 2013). It included goals and values of ethnographic magazines. In a caring interview, researchers and participants listen deeply, talk responsibly, passionately share, share relationships with other people, and keep in contact with each other in relationships and ethics. In caring storytelling, researchers - sometimes with participants - write and tell stories with a desire to reduce or prevent suffering in a way that is considerate and respected.
The Holocaust women are personal stories of the survivors of most women in the Holocaust. Women telling stories contain detailed information on which categories point to someone as a Jew. The part about resistance includes explanation of survival techniques and how they survive. (Vanessa Boomgaard) The woman of the Third Empire is a combination of important works written by recent historians, focusing on female characters in the shadow of the Third Reich. Stibbe considers that factors such as class, race, religion, spouse presence, etc. are more important in women's life than sex. Chapter 6 pays special attention to women who do not support the Nazi regime. It describes the opposite type: How to organize resistance, opposition and contradiction in everyday life, and how Germans helped Jews in concentration camps. (Roselie Smith and Vanessa Boomgaard)
