John H. Glenn Jr. became the first American to enter into orbit. As he traveled the earth three times in his friendship, the Soviets sent Valentina Telesico to outer space in 1963. She was the first woman in the universe, which was a big success for women of the day. She spent more than 70 hours on the orbit around Globe 6 (Netherlands 115). The Soviets also performed their first multiplayer mission in Voskhod 1 in 1964. In 1965, Voskhod 2 made its first space walk. In all categories of Americans, the Soviets dominated the space competition.
America and the former Soviet Union are conducting "space competition" at the beginning of the month. It is said that this shows the superiority of the socio-economic system. The Soviet Union easily tracked the Apollo moon landing spacecraft and used that communication satellite to transmit the mission's Apollo Radio to mission control and all TV broadcasts. In the 1960s the Soviets had this technology because they sent spacecraft to the moon (without astronauts). If NASA did not really send an astronaut to the moon, the Soviet Union surely knows the opportunity to make America break the "world stage" at the peak of the Cold War and will take it. The possibility of this kind of mischief by the Soviets is far below zero (lower than the winter temperature in Siberia!). Pravda in Moscow acknowledged that there was a report on the front page on Apollo 11 lunar landing.
In the early 1950s, America and the Soviet Union participated in the biggest competition in history. This is competition for space, more specifically for the moon. Space competition has become a symbol of extensive political competition between two conflicting world powers. Both America and the Soviet Union tried to landing on the moon and tried to put people on it. "In front of the cautious world, every party wants to show its advantage through rocket bullets and a great accomplishment in space flight" ("Space Race"). The Soviet Union put the first satellite in orbit and sent the first satellite to space. As America had to answer, we turned the first person to the moon, and the Soviet Union continued, and they succeeded in doing almost the same thing. When the US ran to the moon, some skeptics and conspiracy theorists raised the idea that this historic event might be forged. There is a lot of evidence that nobody actually landed on the moon.
