The Souls of Black Folk, by W.E.B. Du Bois

The soul of the black populace of WEB Du Bois depicts the fight of free slavery in the movement from slaves for modern readers to true freedom, and is the work of a keeper depicting the character and soul of the black community at that time . . Du Bois pointed out very carefully when introducing this work. "And finally, what we are talking about is the bone and flesh of the person living in the veil." (Du Bois, 1994, P.vi) Among all the choices, Du Bois himself I chose to include quotes and songs' s measures in my work. The main content of this chapter is the most interesting one.

"Black Soul Soul" published in 1903, sociologist Web Du Bois discusses the identity of African-American slaves and challenges the concept of abstract individuals as the center of white male view. It is a population. Structural fraud in the presence of African-Americans, oppression, apartheid, prejudice still have many aspects. The reality of slave life is totally in contrast to the view of liberation and equality that is widespread in Western society and these features reveal that they are objective and universal in this context. Instead, it can only be seen from the perspective of a white male, it is in the heart of the world

W. E. B. Dubois's classic "black soul" in 1903 explores the philosophical and spiritual aspects of the "soul" emotion that closely associates black souls and blacks with black people. Dubois made two complementary trips. One is to examine the roots of African American religious thought and the other is to evaluate African American culture community. A black soul incorporates sacred and secular things and provides readers with a literary model of "deep love" to express and harmonize the ideals of war of the "soul" of African Americans.
