The Son of Man

The son of a man (French: Le fils de l'homme) was a painting by René Magritte, a surrealist painter in Belgium in 1946. This may be his most famous artwork. [1]

Magrit drew it as a self-portrait. [2] This picture consists of a man clothed over the ocean and cloudy sky, a coat standing in front of a low wall, and a mountain hat. The man's face was mostly covered with hovering green apples. But you can see that person's eyes peeking at the edge of the apple. This picture played an important role in the 1999 version of Thomas Crown Incident. It appeared several times, especially in the last robber scene, a man wearing a bowler and a trench coat carried a briefcase in the museum to hide the movement of the crown, confusing the security team.

The green apple is the theme of Magritte's work. He used it by Paul McCartney's painting "Le Jeu De Morre" in 1966, urged the Beatles to name their record labels "Apple Corps", and through it, Sty Steve Jobs, his company "Apple Computer" named. [7]
