The Softball Swing

Chapter 1: Introduction In the past 15 to 20 years, the popularity of women's soft softball continues to rise internationally. By the mid-1990s, it took place in more than 85 countries under the eyes of the International Softball Federation (ISF). It is increasingly popular among young and university women. More than 630 national sports federation association (NCAA) member organizations sponsored the female softball project and three national NCAA sports departments hosted the National Women's Championships (Encarta, 1998).

In the previous swing research, most studies were conducted at baseball sports of male athletes, and few female athletes participated in softball sports. In particular, Stellar and his colleagues (1993) (9) valued professional baseball players BQ and BV at Major League Baseball (MLB). Despite the obvious physiological differences between men and women, the limits of baseball and softball should demand that both players of sports have similar swing movements. The pitching speed between the two sports is quite different, but the pitcher's pitching time is the same as the pitcher's pitching distance is shorter than the baseball pitching distance. However, in such research, BQ, BV (measured from the edge of the bat 's head) during the game, or softball that evaluates BA has not been completed.

Pitching is one of the most obvious differences between baseball and softball. First, the pitch distance is different. This is not surprising when considering softball in smaller areas. In baseball games, the balls will pitch from the mound 60 feet high from the plate. In softball, the ball is thrown from a flat pitching ring within 43 feet of the board. Actual body movement of the pitch is the most important difference. In softball, the ball must be thrown. In the baseball games, the court is mostly in the side or side. Since there is nothing in the rule that hinders baseball pitchers pitching, we say "almost always". This is almost unprecedented as pitching is too large, or sidearms allow pitchers to invest more power and speed.
