The Sizzling Sahara

Sizzling Sahara is a short story about two best friends who are acquainted with each other's lives. They adventured together to cross the Sahara desert and try their friendship by coping with many of the problems associated with it. ... We finally entered the beginning of adventure, but here is our own mini adventure. About 12 o'clock noon, Dave and I began handing the notorious Sahara dessert. We have planned a trip for years, but after a lot of persuasion I convinced Dave that he is my best companion in my life.

I recently chose Michael Usher's book "Death in the Sahara Desert". This is meant to draw a railroad through Sahara about the 19th century French colonial expedition. The legendary city Timbuktu is the destination of this expedition and there are many expeditions. This reminds me of his title between Kurt Vonnegut, especially Timid and Timbuktu. Vonegut died ten years ago (he will be in 1995 in the next November). For me, his work has been the source of inspiration for the last 20 years. Well, the coincidence word association makes me think again about Vonnegut 's wisdom and evil observation of humor brands, and the lessons that it might have during our time.
