This site is a team blog with over 100 registered female members of all ages, "They gathered to share knowledge, ideas, stories, conversations, wisdom, and occasional dirty joke" (Sessum). In February 2002 Jeneane Sessum founded Blog Sisters on the premise that the number of male bloggers far exceeds the number of female bloggers. My sisters have a variety of backgrounds, but they share a passion for blogging.
