The Shadow Unmanned Aerial System

The shadow UAV system consists of eight systems, four RQ - 7B or shadow UAV, two ground control stations (GCS), one portable ground control station (PGCS), two ground data. Two tactical automatic landing systems (TALS), four integrated system remote viewing terminals (OSRVT), one aircraft transportation (AVT) and one maintenance support multiple function (MSM) maintenance vehicle. The RQ - 7B has a maximum flight distance of 9 hours, a range of 109 km, and a use limit of 15,000 feet.

For the purpose of this blog, the terms "unmanned aerial system" (UAS), "unmanned vehicle" (UAV), and "UAV" are used to fulfill the definition defined by the Federal Aviation Administration. Aircraft systems are unmanned aircraft required for safe and efficient operation of aircraft and are essential for drone systems and are defined by regulations as aircraft that do not require human intervention. From a technical point of view, Drone is a drone. The UAV is more formally known as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or unmanned aerial vehicle system (UAS). Basically, drone is a flying robot that can be used for remote control and autonomous flight, combined with onboard sensor and GPS via software controlled flight plan in the installed system. Recently, many unmanned reconnaissance aircraft were related to the military, initially being used for the purpose of practicing air defense target, information gathering, controversial as a weapons platform. UAV is used in a wide range of private roles, from search and rescue, surveillance, traffic surveillance, weather surveillance, firefighting, personal drones, commercial drone photos, video, agriculture and even delivery services.

UAV is the most common synonym for UAV or UAS, but what is the difference between them? Media always insists on "unmanned aerial vehicles" as they know that it attracts attention of spectators regardless of their understanding of drone and drone. Because media rarely interprets the difference between them, UAV and drones are more popular than UAS. The drone community does not seem to like using the term "drone" to represent the drone that is generally sold. The terms used by the media were once very complicated and changed to general terms referring to simple aircraft. A more specific term for the recreational drone boom is the quad copter. It explains the actual type of drone and drones and it does not wonder the reader whether it can only shoot a video or a car that can place a bomb.
