There is much debate about how September 11th incident changed everything. I do not think they changed the importance and relevance of each of us to life. I think that we are all being pressed into history. The number of people who lost their jobs or are reviewing their work and living. Those who care about diversity, coexistence, reconciliation, conflict prevention, understanding and tolerance, peace and justice will find our lives offer us a solid foundation.
The first day of the 2001 General Assembly is scheduled for September 11. Secretary-General Kofi Annan drafted a message celebrating the International Peace Day on 21st September. That day, especially in 2002, it changed from the third Tuesday to September 21. The General Assembly adopted a new resolution to be hosted by the UK (for the day of peace) and the first sponsor of the day in order to set the International Peace Day as the fixed calendar day of September 21, Declaration Violence Day
Today, I feel deeply sad about the events that occurred on 11th September 2001. September 11 is the day when we created many heroes, memories, and strong nationalism. Like many citizens from the Midwest, I am an American revolutionary daughter cardholder; I love God and the country. Since September 11, we need to truly look back on the behavior as a citizen. Many recipients of Caucasian privileges are on standby as our country continues to be an international headline disturbing racial injustice and inequality. "What is the thing I can do, I think I am a white person." A quiet voice of helplessness is a coward's appeal, as some people truly love God and the country can do so. This is for love. This is a country that loves us and loves all this.
