The short story I am trying to analyze is the secret life of Walter Mitty written by James Thurber in March 1939. The story develops around the cheerful and fun fantasies of Walter Mitie He lives in Waterbury, Connecticut, and lives with his aggressive and unwieldy wife Mitty. In this short story, Miti explains the confrontation between a poor and timid man who dreams of dealing with various situations, and other people he encounters everyday in his life.
