The Romans use of Spectacle as Leisure

As society adopts violent stance to more and more people, sports become local and some believe that violence such as attacks and combat should be eliminated. Elimination of this sort of violence should not be done in sports, because violence is part of the game, which only hurts its popularity. Violence exists from the beginning of the era. People have to put up with it, and violence has to be understood from sports and leisure since Roman gladiator era.

Gladiator match (or munera) and Beast's battle are general entertainment and leisure activities in the late Roman era. A gladiator's game was originally started during ancient ceremonies. "Munus Gladiatorum" (the sacrifice of gladiator's performance) including the animals themselves is dedicated as the soul of the deceased needs blood donation and most of the society of the Roman Republic thinks about this part of their entertainment and leisure I will sacrifice a person. Since 264 BC, gladiator game has become an important part of ancient Roman entertainment. Because it first appears when the son of Junius Brutus commemorates their father by matching three pairs of gladiators. Traditionally, the game did not have to be exhibited at that time, but munera was a funeral procession and offer to nobleman men at their funeral.

The Roman Amphitheater is a large, usually elliptical or circular shaped large structure, built by Romans and used primarily for entertainment purposes. There are various eyeglasses in the amphitheater such as gladiator games and prisoners' execution. Roman dominant elite understands that they need to supply nutrition to the body and mind in order to maintain people's happiness and satisfaction. Therefore people, riders who belong to the Roman ruling class often fund the citizens under Rome to participate and receive.

Many Roman citizens participated in Bloody Glass at the famous Colosseum. The Colosseum opened in the year 80 AD and has 100 glasses per year. The 50,000 seats are divided into social classes. Women and poor people are sitting on the 4th floor. Colosseum's most popular show is a gladiator. They perform late in the afternoon and often attend after the public bath. Gladiator easily enthusiastically won the audience. A gladiator is a slave and accuses the idols of criminals, war prisoners, and young girls. They will fight animals and other enemies until they die. These bloody performances will allow the public to play for hours. The law stipulates income limits, but many gladiators earn large sums of money and can buy freely.
