The role of plate tectonics in plate tectonics helps to understand three key elements: the distribution of major landscapes in the world, the distribution of natural disasters such as volcanoes and earthquakes, and the distribution of supply of minerals and energy. There are seven main plates consisting of a narrow crust that forms the outer shell or outer layer of the earth. All of these plates move continuously in different directions. This is fossil evidence, the structure of the continent, and drift of the continent that can be proved by climate change.

As a record of plate movement, paleogeography is the basis of our understanding of plate tectonics and its role in shaping today's geology. In order to correctly understand the history of construction and its impact on deep and climate of the earth, it is necessary to explore exact global paleoclass model. However, as the subduction continues to lose oceanic lithosphere, paleogeographic reconstruction of "full plates" (including marine lithosphere) becomes increasingly difficult as the years go by. About 150% of lithosphere was lost before 150 Ma, but this reconstruction did not clearly consider the principle of marine lithosphere and plate tectonics; in fact, reflects the mobilization paradigm of early continental drift doing. These 'continental' reconstructions are very useful, but the next generation mantle model requires a global plate kinematics description of all plate reconstruction.
