The Role of Tacit Knowledge in Religion

Abstract of the role of tacit knowledge in religion: The clarity of what religious people have knowledge is extremely important. First of all, J. Whittaker commented that a believer must have some knowledge that makes it possible to distinguish God's literal and literary accounts. (1) According to believers, "God is a stone" is not a real rock. But God is truly love. Whitaker believes that the knowledge necessary for this distinction can not be metaphysical or empirical, but it is not a more basic form of what we call "practical" knowledge.

Nonaka (1994) believes that there are two types of tacit knowledge: technical tacit knowledge and cognitive tacit knowledge. As technical implicit knowledge is created through behavior and experience, language is not required as an intermediary. Technically, the term "know how" is often used to describe skills and processes related to mastering work (Nonaka 1994). Expertise is related to this implicit technical knowledge. It can prove the perfect execution of a task, but it is difficult to clarify the principles behind it (Baumard 1999). Meanwhile, spiritual models, opinions, beliefs constitute cognitive tacit knowledge and are deeply rooted in psychology until they exist at subconscious levels and influence how individuals perceive the world.

In academia, people pay special attention to the role of tacit knowledge in the innovation process. For example, Giovanni Dosi (1988), Richard Nelson and Sidney Winter (1982), Nathan Rosenberg (1982) etc are exploring the role of tacit knowledge in innovation, research and development, knowledge transfer and communication studies. In particular, these and other authors focus on mastering implicit knowledge. For example, Kenneth Arrow (1962) emphasized the importance of "learning by doing". Nathan Rosenberg emphasized the role of "utilization of learning" and Donald Schön and Chris Argyris (1978) highlight the importance of learning for learning or contemplation.

In order to study the role of tacit knowledge in the field of corporate management, it is clear that there is a big difference between level and content of tacit knowledge among business managers. These changes are considered to exist for administrators to experience their experiences in various ways, at different points in time and in different situations. Wagner (1987) states that implicit knowledge is particularly important for management success, and classifies it into three categories based on the content of tacit knowledge management.
