The Role of Language in Education: Arabic as Case Study☆

It is clear that the language plays an important role in every aspect of our daily life. Their roles are not limited to communication, they extend to a wide range of knowledge and humanities. Language develops human knowledge and it can be expanded for the benefit of mankind. The universal importance of language indicates the need for scientific and objective research on the relationship between language and education.

This research aims to identify scientific methodologies in the field of linguistics (living languages), which help researchers identify the most expressive languages ​​and provide knowledge and scientific facts is. Despite recognizing the importance of language languages ​​and their role in education, there is not much research to investigate the various problems related to this problem. There are certainly studies on the relationship between languages ​​and knowledge, but there is little detail on the impact of language on education. The following research attempts to present a basic expression of the role of the language in the development of education and how it may have a positive influence. In the first chapter we will explain the linguistic features that influence the development of education.

Arabic is taught in many elementary and junior high schools around the world, especially Muslim schools. Universities around the world attend courses in Arabic as part of a course in Foreign Languages, Middle Eastern Studies and Religious Studies. Arabic schools exist to help students learn Arabic outside academic circles. There are many Arabic schools in the Arab world and other Muslim countries. Because the Qur'an is written in Arabic, all Islamic terms are Arabic and millions of Muslims (Arabs and non-Arabs) learn this language. During my later in Colombia I studied Arabic for one semester in Cairo. As a double major in anthropology and Middle Eastern studies - it is imperative to learn a foreign language. Is not it Arabic? Technology alone can not explain this difference. What is important is the role and nature of each language. For Turks, Arabic is more important for Turks than for Turks (as it is for Turks).
