This change suggests that we need to consider all socio-ecological factors in home care. The socio-ecological approach takes into account the interaction between individual factors, social relations and community environment (McElroy et al., 1988). Visually, an individual can be thought of as a series of concentric circles within the smallest circle of the center. The gradually expanding yen includes social relations for the first time, then spreads to the outside including the community environment. In addition to the community department, there is a larger circle including laws regulating public policy and home care. To elucidate the impact of cultural, social and community environment on home care, we first briefly introduce the socio-ecological model applied to these home care environments. Because culture may be related to home care, pay particular attention to culture with minimal investigation on these factors.

The socio-ecological model comes from the ecosystem theory (Bronfenbrenner, 1979), which obviously is trying to test the transaction between people and the environment.
