Labor market and economic outcome data: Labor market and economic data from the current census (CPS). The CPS jointly carried out by the US Census Bureau and the Labor Statistics Bureau is a survey covering about 55,000 households each month and is the official unemployment statistics of the country. CPS represents the citizen's non-institutional population nationwide. The analysis uses annual social and economic subsidies collected in March every year. The number of samples of CPS in March expands (about 75,000 households in 2013) and is the basis for estimating annual income, poverty and health coverage coverage reported by the Census Bureau each autumn ( DeNavas-Walt, Proctor and Smith, 2013). . Data analysis used a comprehensive version of CPS in March at the University of Minnesota Population Center (King, Ruggles, Alexander, Flood, Genadek, Schroeder, Trampe, and Vick, 2010).
Survey data: Pew Research Survey was conducted from 7th to 27th October 2013. Representative samples across the country were 2,002 adults over the age of 18 including 982 adults between the ages of 18 and 34. A total of 479 interviews were completed and respondents contacted with 1,523 mobile phones on a fixed phone. An additional interview took place in the cohort to increase the number of respondents from 25 to 34 in the sample. Data is weighted to create a final sample representing the general adult population in the United States. Interview was conducted in English and Spanish under the guidance of Princeton Survey Research Associates International. Based on a total sample of 95% confidence level, the sample error margin is plus or minus 7 percent of the result.
