Gender equality is the concept that most of us wish in today's society. However, it is a dream of a Chinese society that leads society. This society known for men is better than women. According to Ma, Professor Ma is different from men and women in the society dominated by the Chinese family. For example, in families, workplaces, and politics, men have absolute power and decision-making power, but women have little or no permission to participate in the above.
Over the years, many modern scholars have argued that Confucianism is a form of sexism and patriarchal ideology that historically was harmful for Chinese women. Some Chinese and Western writers believe that the rise of the New Confucianism in the Song dynasty has led to a decline in the status of women. Some famous Song Dynasty New Confucianist Zhu Xi criticize that women are inferior and that men and women need to be completely separated. Finally, scholars discussed attitudes towards women in Confucian text like The Analects. In well thought out articles, it is said that women and bad guys (small people, literally "small people", that is, people of low or non-ethical) are difficult to cultivate and process.
This paper analyzed the relationship between filial piety and women's role in modern Chinese society from the perspective of history and analysis. Since Confucian values are emphasized, filial piety which Chinese society emphasizes before 1500 applies to women as well as men, which influences the role of women in Chinese society and the evaluation of women by colleagues I will. This article relies on the main source of discussion on these issues and explores the complex ways women find their position in the patriarchal and hierarchical world.
