In 1973 when his militarism and authoritarian rule began, the rise of the Chilean democrat Augusto Pinochet won the power in a blood coup d'etat. He continued to rule the system of brutal repression and human rights abuses until the regime was lifted in 1989 to support more democratic institutions. Since 1990, Chile seems to be rebuilding a strong democracy that continues to strengthen. Three factors that enhance the chances of success are the three-party system, institutionalization of the party system, and the reduction of the ideological polarization of the national profession.

Chile's seismic activity is related to the eastward subduction of the Nazca plate. Chile has remarkably maintained the 1960 Vardivia earthquake which is the largest earthquake record ever recorded. Villarrica is one of the most active volcanoes in Chile, on the banks of Villarrica and Villarrica. It is the most west point of three large layered volcanoes perpendicular to the Andean chain. A crater of 6 kilometers wide was formed in the latter half of Pleistocene before 60,000 years ago. The post ice crater of 2 km in width is currently active at the northwestern margin of the Pleistocene crater, mainly at the bottom of the basalt - Anshan cone. On the side of Villarica there are about 25 conical tips. During the Holocene, Prinny volcanic eruption and volcanic debris flow occurred from this main basalt volcano, but historic volcanic eruptions mainly contained mild to moderate explosions, occasionally lava penetration
