The Rh Factor

This might be the first time that you saw your blood, hitting a bicycle, just hitting around the children. Even if a lot of painful red things flow, there is nothing serious. The second time is probably a brad car seeking donations or watching horror movies. Either way, unless you are a hematologist (a doctor studying blood), blood itself will not stay in your mind. It is very strange, but people study blood, but this is an important topic. What I think is interesting is that some things are very important and most people do not know anything about it.

There are four main blood types A, B, O, AB. These types are based on blood cell surface material. Other blood types are called Rh. Rh factor is a protein of erythrocytes. Most people are Rh positive and have Rh factor. Rh negative people do not have it. Rh factor is genetically inherited. When you are pregnant, your baby 's blood will enter your blood, especially when giving birth. If you are Rh negative and your baby is Rh positive then your body will react to the baby's blood as a foreign body. It generates antibodies (proteins) to the blood of the baby. These antibodies usually do not cause problems during initial pregnancy.

The Rh factor in the genetic protein is present on the surface of human erythrocytes. When someone is born without this factor, they are considered to be Rh negative. If a woman is Rh negative and there is a Rh positive male baby, her baby may inherit his father's Rh positive blood. This is a problem, as the mother's body often produces antibodies that try to resist the baby's Rh-positive blood because the mother's and baby's Rh factor are not the same. Afterwards, these antibodies destroy fetal blood cells and cause Rh disease. When a female body produces these antibodies against her baby, it is called sensitization. By accepting a simple blood test by a doctor or obstetrician, a woman can know whether she is Rh negative.
