Our country's name is the Republic of Cameroon. Cameroon is bordering the Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Nigeria. The area of Cameroon is 183,568 square miles. The area of Tennessee is 42,180 square miles. In other words, Cameroon will be 35 times the state of Tennessee and 163,695 square miles in California. Cameroon has diverse terrain, the plains on the southwest coast, the central part of the plateau, plains in the western and northern parts.

Cameroon's official name is in Central Africa, it is composed of geographically and culturally diverse regions, and today it is one of the most diverse countries in the world. From a mountain, a desert, a rainforest to a coast and savanna, diverse geographical conditions will allow for a large population. As this diverse geographical location closely resembles the whole of Africa, most people often call Cameroon "mini-Africa". Before Cameroon became independent in the Americas, it was under British and French colonial rule from 1916 to 1961. After acquiring sovereignty, it is clear that colonial influence will become bigger and English and French will become the language of the Cameroon inhabitants of about 25 million people. Ahmadou Ahidjo was elected president of Cameroon in 1960 and John Ngu Foncha became his vice president. In 1961, during the unification of Britain and Cameroon, the country was known as the "Cameroon Federal Republic". They added two stars to the French flag of Cameroon to symbolize the Union. In 1962, the CFA Franc became the official currency of the two regions of the country. Cameroon's new president Paul Biya was appointed Prime Minister Vero and Buba Galli, and the status of the Prime Minister was removed from the government a year later. This court revolution ended the regime overwhelmed by political parties who plagued the population seriously.
