Ancient text is used as a guide and reference material for people of today. Some people keep their rules, laws and stories, and they keep them in their hearts. Many of these texts have been read and interpreted by generations of students, historians, and professors all over the world. Three concrete texts, Tanakh, Sophocles' Antigone and Plato apologies are examples of years of analysis and discussion. Each of these works has important concepts still relevant to today's society, and some concepts should remain in the past.

The idea presented by Sophocles of Antigone is closely related to today's world and shows that modern society is not as progressive as we think. In the days of Sophocles, women are subordinate to men, but today women face the same problem as men. Antigone raised this issue by violating the unfair decision of the king.
