Reasons for industrialization in the UK Since 1780, the UK has experienced rapid growth and industrialization for more than a century. This is a well-known industrial revolution. Rapid economic growth is due to a variety of key factors such as the UK's geographical diversity, population growth, invention, improvement of transportation, government, etc. All of these factors have influenced E. J. Hoss Barn's view as "the most fundamental change in human life in world history, documented in written document."
In the era of industrialization, society has undergone a turbulent change. Some people welcome it at once, others refuse it. However, industrialization has gradually built a foothold. Regardless of the environmental problems it causes, industrialization is absolutely essential development in history. As far as bioengineering is concerned, I believe it is the same. Since society usually tends to move evolutionarily, it is not acceptable to completely resist it.
One of the main reasons for bringing the industrial revolution in Britain and Japan is geographical similarity. Japan and the UK are isolated islands near the continent of Africa, raw materials are limited, but enough to start industrialization. For the UK, there are coal, iron, wool and Japan has to be imported from other countries. The economic consequences of both countries are the same, the two countries have become rich and powerful. Another similar effect of industrialization between Japan and the UK is the development of their skills and military weapons. Moved by the demand for raw materials, they conquered Africa and Asian countries. Workers in the UK and Japan suffer great losses: low wages, long working hours, poor working conditions, living in the slums, and perhaps child labor. The way the industrial revolution began in both countries is very different.
The Industrial Revolution began in England in the 19th century. Therefore, the UK needs new markets and raw materials to maintain its industry. The UK depends on that colony for the raw materials needed for that factory. These colonies are also new markets for manufactured goods. Nationalism is also a cause of colonization. European countries are convinced that they must dominate other countries in order to become a powerful world power. This is the result of the French Revolution. They occupied other countries, acquired power in their land, and strengthened their military strength.
