The true purpose of college education I know through my life that I go to college. To the best of my knowledge, there seems to be no other choice. I never stopped thinking about whether it is necessary for me or why it is so important; I just entered the high school course. I have been studying at the University of Arkansas for 3 years and I heard two main arguments about the purpose of university education. One is that the university is a training place and the other is that the university should be a higher education institution rather than a career that really concerns the future.
Although there was much debate about the purpose of the university, I would like to take a clear stance here. The main purpose of college education is to prepare for employment. Of course, the university is about growing up as a person, expanding your way of thinking, touching various topics, and making people with knowledge (in preparation for statistical overload). As a matter of fact, only 23% of students report general motivation to learn more and acquire knowledge without linking to desires for work or career, 58% are students' primary motivation I cite work and career achievements. For the employer, the first job in choosing university recruitment is whether the university can offer employment opportunities for students. Employers all over the world are not satisfied with how this element is currently being accomplished and that business graduates strongly agree that they have the skills they are looking for is 11% C It is only a level executive.
About two years ago, I was appointed Vice President of Higher Education Welfare of Sheffield University. This means my job is to research the public purpose of the university and advise my vice president about the public value of higher education. On the one hand, efforts to further standardize UK universities as commercial competitors (but not completely) have increased greatly. Meanwhile, we find ourselves in the political culture behind Brexit and Trump, and this culture is one party or one that all the commons in public discourses (not to mention the truth) It is seen by the party. It is absurd. Other
High quality education. The rapid increase in the number of universities means that there is great pressure on university resources. UK education is lagging behind other countries, as university education and research may be influenced as the government works to increase actual expenditure. If the university can charge students, it will help to maintain standards, quality of education, and the reputation of UK universities. Higher education signal function Higher education is an employer's signal and graduates' abilities are high. As a result, those who acquire a degree end up with a relatively high salary. Therefore, they may pay a part of the fee if they receive financial benefits from the research of the university. This is particularly important for middle-class families who send more people to higher education.
