In this guidance note I will explain health finance and subsidies and explain the subsidy situation and some practical pitfalls. In this survey we used two case studies on rural environmental sanitation funding in Cambodia (as of the end of 2009) to explain the practical problems while supplementing the preliminary data from the two health marketing projects.
