The Qing Dynasty: China's Last Imperial Dynasty

The Opium war lasted from 1839 to 1842. Chinese troops could not keep up with British troops, there were many warships, destroying fortresses along the coast and rivers. The Nanjing treaty opened five Chinese ports to the UK and taxed goods in the UK. The French war lasted from 1883 until 1885. This was one of the first incidents that the Chinese collapsed and the war was under the rule of Li Hongchang. Qing Dynasty which was formally Daqing (/ tʃɪŋ /) was the last Empire era in China. It was founded in 1636 and ruled China from 1644 to 1912. It was inherited to the People's Republic of China before Ming Dynasty. The Qing dynasty's multicultural empire continued for nearly three centuries, forming the territory foundation of modern China. It is the fourth largest empire in world history. Dynasty was founded by Manchurian love Giro clan in Manchuria. In the latter half of the 16th century, Nurhac, who was originally a vice president of the Meiwei dynasty, began organizing "flags" including Manchuria, Han and Mongolian military forces.
