The same can be said for people of different cultures. This may be the way they were raised as children and the traditions they were taught as they believe in their childhood. In America, I always talk about the perfect family portrait of Norman Rockwell painting, the perfect work, the American dream that is about the house. Those who are seeking their own happiness in the happy life of Gooseberry will not be able to do very good for others. The absolute necessity of achieving this "ideal" state of happiness certainly will lead to dishonorable views of the world. Anton Chekhov's story Gooseberry depicts the person who achieved this goal.
