The Prince and The Discourses: a Study in Sovereign Power

When Machiavelli first wrote "Prince" at the end of 1513, probably at the beginning of 1514, the writer wrote this article including writers who are trying to regain the status of the Florence government soon. Machiavelli thought that he needed a fair advantage to regain his previous position, as many of his colleagues in the Republican government soon recovered and reemployed under Medici. It was originally written for Giuliano de 'Medici and he may be grateful for it.

The Prince of Machiavelli: According to the prince of Machiavelli, in the 16th century politics and symbolism were tied to sovereignty and prince. The prince is a central hero who understands the whole political concept. Politics is restricted and defined within borders and territories. Politics is explained by the prince and his principal, and it is said that the prince is regarded as the Lord or Master. It said the Prince inherited power and used his sovereignty to influence his subject. The Prince said that the power of the Prince as a sovereign is intended to strengthen, influence, strengthen and protect the principality of his subject matter. According to the prince, the goal of the Prince's power, on the other hand, is based on the two sides of its inhabitants. Overall, Machiavelli sees power in a strategic, organized, and decentralized manner.

As Foucault stated in the first part of disciplinary action and punishment, the power of sovereign power is expressed in a recognizable way through a specific identifiable individual. The "clause" of this form of power is the king, the prince and his agent. These people are the subjects of the visible force, others know, they themselves are like this.
