The Pride of Blue Springs: The Blue Springs Cemetery

An obvious crisp scent hangs in the air. Since the sound of gravel sounds at the feet of tourists, the old iron fence gives a sense of security. Surprisingly, this is the typical environment of the Blue Spring Cemetery. The cemetery not only fulfills the needs of the deceased relatives but also serves as a symbol of the pride of the Blue Spring and its surrounding communities. The Blue Spring Cemetery is an iconic building of Gage County with a long history, an important part of the community's pride and service. This branch was built by Blue Spring, Orange City, Atlantic Railroad, from Blue Springs of the St. John's River to Orange City, the main line of News Mena Beach. In the mid 1980's, it became the Atlantic and Western branch of Jacksonville, St. Augustine and the Indian River Railroad and was renamed Florida East Coast Railroad in 1895. It may be between the Atlantic and the western railroads. This line was used until 1930. The railroad from Tokoi to Tokoi Junction on the outskirts of Saint Augustine was built by the St. John's Railway. Jacksonville, Saint Augustine, the Indian River Railroad was acquired in 1894 and renamed the Florida East Coast Railway in 1895.
