Power of Writing When I entered this class, I thought I would not discuss the concept of writing. In fact, I did not think that the concept of writing was complicated enough to discuss in the classroom. But as history shows, various forms of communication such as writing shape and develop human interactions, causing social change. For example, in an article by Walter Ong, "On writing is a technique for remaking ideas," says Ong, who has been controversial since Plato era (319).
48 The Law of Power is a manual concerning the art of human interaction. These laws are based on the work of men and women who learn and master power game. Unlike Italian ancient Italy and Renaissance Italy, these works range from the creation of more than 3,000 years of civilization. However, they share a common subject and theme, suggesting the essence of power which has not yet been fully elucidated.
In the past 4 months, I have investigated research, ideas, and perspectives on writing ability studies. I have also read articles on articles such as "the ability to write a sentence" and "the real reason why many young people can not write" and articles on the decline of teaching guidance at school. That surface is worried: writing is part of an important "three R" education. However, a polarized political environment dealing with serious social problems suggests a more serious reason to consider the importance of writing.
Shannon Carey is seeking strong writing with teens at a public school in Oakland, California. In order to help students understand why powerful sentences are important, she sees it as a strong resistance, a way to be heard about youth's most worrisome issues. This framework makes it easier for young people who experienced significant discrimination and alienation to write more powerfully. Kelly asked his students to read James Baldwin's "talk to the teacher" article, where he had to shape the influence of a new generation of philosophers and revolutionaries whose teachers would change the society we live in I explained that it would not. The students analyzed the text and looked for concrete examples of how Baldwin emphasized his argument. Kelly explains this task in detail in her blog.
