The Poetry of Tony Harrison

Tony Harrison's poet Toni Harrison is almost certainly one of the most famous poets. He was born in Leeds in 1937 and brought up in a working-class family. Harrison is a modern poet, but he chose to use a traditional form of sonnet. He believed that rigid structure, rigid rhythm, and prosodic rules that seems to be limited to others are challenging for him. He also thinks that this is a control technology for expressing my emotions. Francesco Petrach began using Sonnets during the early Renaissance period. I used rare rhyme patterns and octave and cestat poetry.

As a freshmen of Leeds University, I learned Tony Harrison's poem. Harrison born in Leeds is educated in Leeds and most of his poems are full of cityscapes and sounds. When I was reading the school of V and eloquence school, I pass through me through the urban space of Leeds, I met some of the poems heard the dialect every day. Harrison uses the sound of his dull dark cartoon, also I expressed the divorce feeling of the same working class, I was the one who first go to university in the family.

Harrison refused to "crouch" in the world of poetry, and this sentence can acknowledge his distrust. He occupied it and he changed this space to his own. More importantly, after reading the poetry of Tony Harrison, my self is this line no longer the 18-year-old is not scared in this difficult form that has been locked in a rhyme in full of metaphor. Instead, I am determined to regain the poems and occupy. I am practicing and maintaining this profession through my teaching now. I students tried to help to overcome the fear that has been their left for poetry; I have confidence in the use of critical and technical terms as a contact of life with the world around us context I insisted on reading poetry with. World poetry day shared this goal.
