Emily Dickinson is always one of my favorite poets. I like her poems. Because the pain and sadness they contain makes it easy to connect me. She often writes funeral and death. I saw so many friends dying and I want to know why God makes this happen. At each funeral, some kind mourners will say - "Lord please call him" or "She is with Jesus now." My intuitive reaction is always "nonsense". Then, Emily Dickinson's poem "My life is closed twice before the end", in particular the last two lines.
