The Piano Tuner, by Daniel Mason, as a Film Adaptation

When Daniel Mason traveled South East Asia to study malaria as a young medical student, no one dreamed of bringing a beautiful novel, a piano tuner, when he returned. When a person reads it he or she feels the sun of Burma and can see the Salween River flowing through their feet. Unfortunately, adaptation of piano tuner movies has not been completed yet, so the reader did not have the opportunity to actually see these things in the context of Mason's hope.

Daniel Mason got a bachelor's degree in biology from Harvard University in 1998 and spent a year researching malaria at the border between Thailand and Myanmar. Most of them are piano tuners.
