The doctor's story is very different from the other Canterbury stories. It is its obvious personality trait, frankness, quick plotting and ending, and misleading morality. It tells the story of a young girl whose virginity is being threatened and the height of her father's honor to protect her and her family. It is also different as it also does not begin with a prologue like most other stories. The main influence of Joe's story is Rose of the Rose, written by Guillaume de Lorris and completed by Jean de Meung.
In the order of the Canterbury story, Pardoner's prologue and Tale were formerly The Physician's Tale. "Doctor's Story" is a painful story about a judge who used "Char" to outline a beautiful young woman; her father did not make her rape but beheaded her. After the host insisted that he was dissatisfied with this frustrating story, he called for amnesty to speak of the story, declaring that the foreword was in the form of literary regret just like Berth's wife's foreword Did. But amnesty did not apologize for his bad habits, but bragmed about his victims, and he only despised it. His "theme" - preaching Biblical text - was Radix malorum est cupiditas ("greed is the root of evil" 1 Timothy 6.10).
The dishonesty and hypocrisy of "the story of doctors and amnesties" in important aspects very closely resemble each other in the doctor and characters in the story of pardon. Characters on the surface look like mirror images of each other, but there are important similarities. Doctors and amnesty are not their views for most people. Even if they show this hypocrisy in different ways, they are both hypocritical. In the Canterbury story, Geoffrey Chaucer uses ambiguous content in explaining pilgrims in ordinary overture. Pardoner is a missionary who is described as a muscular, feminine man with sharp blonde hair and high voice, shaved. More specifically, he is a greedy person who plays the sacred work of Christ and makes others stupid and flat to gain money by forgiving their evil greed and sins (GP 688- 91). Everyone is kind, pretty selfish and can be revealed
"The story of a doctor" is another moral allegory, but it is not a very consistent allegory. In short, the focus of this story is Virginia. And it is known for her beauty and humility. As the evil judge decided that he wanted her, he designed a trick to give him Virginia. Virginia state and her father decided not to send her father to the judge, but to pass the head to the judge. After all, the judges received punishment, and we alleged that this allegorical allegory is that wages of sin is death. Of course, this is an unacceptable morality. Because, even if she is living an innocent life, the state of Virginia is also dead. Nevertheless, the "story of a doctor" is usually understood as a moral allegory, and evil judges represent impurities.
