The Persecuted Church

Pope Benedict XVI said, "Christians are the most persecuted religious organizations in the modern world." There are about 2 billion followers in Christianity, but because of that belief, an estimated 200 million people are deprived of fundamental human rights and, in some cases, equals the Holocaust ("200 million"). Since Christianity began in Roman times, that believer was a scapegoat for many other cultures. After the collapse of the Berlin Wall and European communism, people basically ignored the fact that Christians around the world are still considered second-class citizens.

In 2001, Randy Alcon wrote a novel about the persecution of Chinese churches that changed the face of Christian fiction. When he traveled from a US company to China's persecuted church, Alcorn knit stories about conspiracy and hope. Today, this novel will challenge the reader. If they are ready to suffer and die for their own beliefs they will be remembered reminding the importance of coexistence of heavenly hope and eternity in everyday life.

Some of our brothers endured persecution and suffering due to their faith in Christ, but they sacrificed their lives. Other people are living a basic and peaceful life, but persecuted churches and prosperous churches have little accusation or hostility against their faith. Obviously something is wrong here. As a believer, we are called the first person and spread the gospel like a flame that can not be controlled in the forest. Do not worry about being persecuted (verbal persecution and writing) or being killed by Christ ourselves (martyr). As a follower, we are called to preach the gospel! If your lifestyle conflicts with the gospel, you need repentance and depend on God to make a living, not a dead job.

Throughout the history of the Church, it is sometimes proven that persecution is a wonderful way to disseminate believers and motivate to share the gospel. This is of course painful, and no one dares to pray for it. However, from an eternal point of view, pain is worth the product.
