"At night, the white waves come and go under the moonlight, the wind sends the ocean noise to the people on the beach and they feel they can translate" (Crane 370). An "open boat" written by Steven Crane describes four journeys trapped in the middle of the sea and the difficulties they have to face to survive. Not only is this story an attractive story, but the reader is at the edge of the seat, but this story also makes the reader understand that life is truly precious.

Stephen Klein's Leaf Boat "Boat on Leaf" Four people have lost a boat after a while and drifted across the moon with an open boat. Now, on a sunny day, men begin grabbing the full gravity of their situation. Please understand that their main confrontation lies between man and nature, in this case raging waters. In the short novel "One Leaf Flat Boat", He Quan bloomed in the story "One Leaf Flat Boat" which Hequan described every 2 days. The story is centered on four people: the chef, journalist, Billy, the only character in the story, the captain. After their ships sank, they were trapped in a lifeboat in a rough sea near the coast of Florida. They can finally see the coast, but the waves are very big.

In the two stories written by a crane, objects and letters mean more than their entity names. The two stories I refer are "open boat" and "blue hotel". These two stories were written in 1898. "Open boat" is a story about what the crane experienced in the Commodore wreck. "An opened ship" raises a deep philosophical problem and is filled with a symbolic meaning. (LRC - 1) There are four main characters in this story, their names or their thoughts and behaviors are symbolized in the story.
