The Old Testament

Abraham, Isaac, Joseph were inspired by God, and I like to read the Bible stories about this. The lives of these four people brought the existence of Israelites. BT-6603 Theology of the Old Testament (3 credits) This course is based on historical background, research on selected themes and themes of the Old Testament, or a thorough investigation of books / some theology from the author's point of view is. Advancement of sensitivity and revelation of the Bible. The selected topic varies from year to year. Prerequisites: BI - 5533 Old Testament history, literature and theology, and OT - 5504 Bible Hebrew II. This course can be used as an elective subject of the Bible.

Walter Brueggeman is an influential Protestant Old Testament Scholar who taught the Old Testament at Eden Theological Seminary and Colombian Seminary. His book "Old Testament Theology: Introduction" (Abindgon Press, 2008) 1 starts with a description of God's self-revelation in Exodus (especially 3-4: 17, 19-24: 18 and 32 ~ Chapter 34)).
