The Offense of Christ’s Lordship over Psychology

The theme of this topic is to address whether Christian sovereignty should occupy the position in psychology field. In modern counseling, most psychologists influence Christians and scientific beliefs. Otherwise, many people believe that psychology is based on science and theory (cm. Atkinson, Atkinson, Smith and Ben, 1990; Kalat, 1993; Wade and Travis, 1993). In my choice, I think that counselors should not take the first step of Christian 's approach.

God's Kingdom: God created everything, through all the work of Jesus Christ, all be redressed, and through Christ he has declared his sovereignty in every square inch of creation. Please come here when Jesus first established the kingdom. When Christ returns again he will complete his kingdom. We understand widely about the living and service of the kingdom. We believe that all areas of life are attributed to Jesus sovereignty. We believe that Christians are required to participate in the establishment of his kingdom through the gift and power of his spirit and proactively declare the sovereignty of Jesus.

David Vaughn talked about the life under the sovereignty of Christ in Romans 14: 7-9. Through his sovereignty, he is thinking of his "redemption sovereignty" as the incarnation of Christ (rather than his eternal sovereignty). The only precious response to Jesus as our "Savior" is to obey Jesus as our "Lord". This means that the request for Jesus' disciples is what we will happily raise. Jesus is entitled to control our priorities, opinions and wishes. We intentionally accept Christ and his people. Worshiping God: We believe that God will call upon all people to worship God. Worship is held on Sunday (the first day of the week when Jesus appeared from the grave on Sunday), it is also a way of everyday life. Reformist Christian believes that "everything in life is a religion." So worship should not happen only in an hour on Sunday or in the sanctuary of the church, but for all that we do, for the glory of God.
