Background: Nutritious food (NRF) index is an official scoring system that ranks foods based on nutritional elements. When used in combination with food price database, it helps to identify food with high nutritional value and reasonable price.

Goal: We aim to identify healthy and affordable food and food categories using NRF index and USDA nutrient and food price dataset.

Design: Food 0 of the US Department of Agriculture Dietary Research Food Nutrition Database was scored using the NRF Index. This NRF algorithm is expressed as the daily value of nine nutrients (protein, fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium minus the sum of percentages). Limit the maximum recommended value of three nutrients (saturated fat, sugar and sodium added). The NRF score and the domestic average food price are calculated by the calories and services defined by the US Food and Drug Administration.

RESULTS: Each of the nine food groups of the US Department of Agriculture provided food with different nutritional value and cost. Eggs, dried beans, beans, meat and dairy products are the cheapest ingredients of proteins. Milk and dairy products are the cheapest sources of calcium, and vegetables and fruits are the cheapest sources of vitamin C. The overall nutritional value of milk, potatoes, citrus juices, cereals, beans is far superior to many vegetables and fruits. Energy-intensive cereals, sweets, and fats supply most of the calories, but the intake per dollar decreases.

Conclusion: An important use of a nutrition profile model is to help consumers identify food products that provide optimal nutrition at an affordable cost.

Sweet potatoes are ranked first among affordable dietary supplements. Nutrition-rich vegetarian (NRF) index evaluates food based on nutrient density (cost per gram calorie, calorie per meal, and cost per food). Sweet potatoes are dark yellow vegetables and dark yellow vegetables lining up. This means that sweet potato is one of the most nutritious and most affordable vegetable options per unit price. Good for blood sugar: sweet potato is also considered low GI food. In other words, the blood sugar index after ingestion will be lower. Since the digestive tract of this food is very low, blood sugar levels are not too high even if they are consumed. Hyperglycemia is associated with weight gain and in the longer term is associated with metabolic diseases

Confirm that healthy food consists of protein, carbohydrate and fat, and determine the function of each nutrient. Determining sugar as a substance promotes weight gain and can identify healthy snacks (fruits, peaches, etc.). Describe the importance of sugar intake restrictions that explain the calories and partial controls, the appropriate method of identifying the appropriate environment / mode (YMCA, dance, skate, museum, nature center) that may be effective when the weather is bad Food in the meal (omega 3 linseed oil) will determine how to increase the fiber in the diet (fruit rather than juice).

In order to make it easier to identify foods containing high levels of nutrients, we have created a food evaluation system. With this system, you can emphasize foods that are particularly abundant in certain nutrients. The picture below shows the world's healthiest food. These foods are high quality, very good, or excellent manganese source. Next to each food name is displayed the calories contained in the food, the amount of manganese contained in the food, the ratio (DV%) to the intake amount per day. Nutrient density calculated by this food and nutrients, and evaluation set in the evaluation system. For most of our nutritional ratings, we have adopted the Food Labeling Government Standards of the Food and Drug Administration's Nutrition Label Reference.
