The Nonrealistic Memory

Arthur Miller and The Glass Menagerie of Tennessee Williams are based on the memory of characters in the play. In "death of a salesman", the performance of the hero, sometimes shifting from the present to the past, sometimes mixed with the present, Willie seems to be unable to distinguish his memory flashback from the reality. In "The Glass Menagerie", the drama has also shifted from now to the past, but now the only actor is Tom, whose memory is the foundation of the drama.

Vsevolod Meyerhold is one of the actors of the original Moscow art museum and plays Tussenbach of Seagull Constantine and Three Sisters. In 1905, Stanislavsky felt the difficulty of approaching an unrealistic theater through the performances of the Moscow Arts Theater, and requested that Meyer hold hold a studio to investigate the unrealistic way of acting.
