The Non-Abusive Parent: The Mother

There is evidence that children's sexual abuse has declined in the last few years; however, this does not mean that the impact on the victims or their non-abusive parents is critical (Martinez, 2009 Year, 1 page). It is estimated that 12% to 35% of women and 4% to 9% of men are victims of children's sexual abuse. One in six women and one in twelve in men had been sexually abused when they were children (Martinez, 2009, p.1). The vast majority of the focus is on the victims of the children, and of course there is another discussion about the victims: not abusing their parents.

Child or child's direct physical or sexual abuse • Child is abused as part of "abusing parents" abuse. An abused partner is used as a pawn or spy to try to control a non-abusive parent. Abused partners are forced to participate in abuse and corruption. Child emotional abuse as a result of witness abuse. • If a violent incident occurs, the child will be injured. Listen to abusive verbal communication between family and adults, including humiliation and the threat of violence. Please beware of bruises and injuries that their mother suffered. All the men I interviewed were victims of child abuse. Most people are abused by their parents and some people are being abused by another relative, neighbor, or family friend. Many of them are violent fathers, and mothers are abusers or emotional abusers. Among the survivors of violent mothers, their fathers are usually shameless abusers or emotional abusers, some of them witnessed spousal child abuse. Some of these parents have alcoholics or drug addicts, but others are not.

I was far from my parents when I was 17 years old. My father is abusive. My mother is a drug addict. I can not leave there immediately. I work at the gas station from 10 am to 7 am and go to junior high school all day. I fall asleep all day long while I am absent. I need to save as much as possible to pay rent, cars and food. Until I grew up and diagnosed as bipolar disorder, I realized that my parents had psychosis. Looking back now, you can see all the signs. My father is as arrogant as a maniac. My mother is manic depression. In the eyes of young people, they are messed up. I did not understand what I did, but that did not change their behavior.
