The Royal Rock Temple of Dambulla is one of the most famous spots in Sri Lanka. This is a huge, well preserved cave temple, located on a rock 160 meters above the surrounding plain. There are five caves in the protected area including statues and paintings, but there are clearly more caves nearby.
The Royal Rock Temple is one of Sri Lanka's most famous tourist attractions, but needless to say one of the most sacred places in the country, but almost I do not think the entrance fee of 1500 rupees (10 dollars) is worth it not. To be fair, the best part for me is from the top
One of the things that Sri Lanka has to do when visiting a temple or holy ground is the proper wearing including shoes and feet and withdrawal of the shoe. The same is true for Dambulla. Shoes can be placed at the entrance shelf for a fee. I put it in my backpack.
A visit to the Royal rock temple will not take hours and you can do it on the way from Anuradhapura to Sigiriya. When you arrive at the bus stop of Dambulla, you head for the entrance of the Royal Rock Temple. It only takes 5 minutes by car and the cost should not exceed 200 rupees. Do not forget to negotiate: This is one thing Sri Lanka has to do. Only 100 rupees can be left in the shop.
Sigiriya is about 20 km from Dambulla and is probably the most famous sightseeing spot in Sri Lanka. After entering the scene, the scenery of Sigiriyarok in the distance is really wonderful. Rock forts lie at the top of a mountain surrounded by lush vegetation (usually in Sri Lanka). The view of the fortress is breathtaking
Admission to Sigiriya is Rs. 4,620 ($ 30). It is actually pretty expensive - but I have reached the conclusion that all of Sri Lanka's most famous tourist sites are like this.
My favorite place is Pidurangara, another rocky fortress not far from Sigiriya. Admission is only 500 Sri Lanka Rupees (about 3 US dollars), and almost no tourists.
From the entrance to the top you can see a steady uphill run (or hiking: please wear shoes) for 30 minutes and you can see the most impressive views from there. Gillia One of the best in Sri Lanka is to enjoy the sunset of Pidurangara.
There are many things to do in the bay. If you want to be a super tourist, please plan your itinerary in advance. There are several tourist attractions, Candlestick Park, Union Square, Pier 39, and Exploratorium. Do not forget to cross the 746-foot international tower known as the Golden Gate Bridge. If this is the last decision, you can head to New York City and go to a quaint cafe, bookstore, cave restaurant with a traffic jam in a big city. Sailing California's coast, there is Santa Cruz, also known as Surf City. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk combines beach, amusement park, playground and entertainment. When you walk through the beautiful Redwood forest, you can also see the gravity anomalies of the mysterious sight. There are lots to see and there are many things to do!
Remember that Sri Lanka offers various coastal environments as islands, if the beach wedding you choose is a much more popular choice. The South Coast is the most resort resort with numerous resorts and huge beaches offering water sports and nightlife. This distance is a bit crowded, so it is not always suitable for honeymoon. In contrast, the East Coast has just escaped the civil war, offering a small beach and a hidden cove, which are left untouched. A beautiful setting creates a magical-like background for the wedding. Pasikuda is one of the most popular places where shaking palm trees, crystal clear oceans, colorful corals create a magical-like background. In places like Uga Bay, we return to the venue and offer elephants and couples. This is an example of a magical seaside wedding.
