As more and more individuals and countries tried to discover and conquer new lands, the 15th century brought the age of discovery. The new world refers to the land that has not yet been discovered. Especially European explorers are seeking ways and means to realize this new world and make maximum use of its resources. Europe is in the most important position in exploring the new world and strengthening conquest. Prior to the exploration period, the developed map did not accurately portray the world.
After the Europeans discovered a new world, more plants and crops were discovered. These crops are highly demanding in the old world and need to regain thousands of crops from America. The amount of crops they planted and harvested was so great that they forced Africans away from their homes and forced them to become slaves in the field and brought them to the New World. This slavery lasted over 200 years. The sea breeze is very suitable for Europeans to form triangles to reach all the areas they need to reach. The best wind from Europe carries boats to the coast of South Africa, where they catch slaves and repay other Africans with goods such as copper, cloth, beads and especially guns. The next stop of the journey, also known as the "Middle Passage", has brought a ship full of African slaves now. And the west is a new world.
Slavery has been done all over the world until Europe has committed slave trade in the Middle East and Africa for centuries. Just as Columbus discovered the New World in 1492, they found a land that can grow a lot of sugar. To do this, they need a lot of labor. Unfortunately, in order to accomplish this, they need to develop another land, but this time they exploited people in Africa because they did not use the resources of the land. Europeans are very destructive people. Their looting effect has never been felt in only one place in the world, and the whole world feels it. The motive for African slaves is the cultivation of crops.
When I was young, we all remember about Columbus' research and his courageous measures to "find the new world". He was not able to find a new land in fact, so I use the word "discovery" carefully. There are lots of native American tribes who lived in all the lands that we found in Columbus. As a society, we tend to appreciate the most digestible parts of history. We tend to push bad things into the dark and focus on good things. It is called optimism, and is called positive, but after all, it ignores obviously to completely capture or draw an image. Columbus has many innocent native American blood. He killed his own way in the Americas, raped and destroyed and killed individuals and tribes that were hindering his way. He enslaved the large population and left a mass slaughter on his way.
