The project director at the Strelka Institute explained how his design reacts to the new normals and interferes with it and explained his vision of the city to be planned from now on.
What is the new normals? It seems that something has changed. Creating a new world earlier than tracking. That speed will never be slow. If our technology exceeds our ability to conceptualize its impact, this gap can be dangerous. In response, the impulse is to attempt to pull emergency brakes and return all sprites to all bottles. This is not wise (and desperate). Better yet, investing in emergency situations: mapping the new norm to its essence and shaping it into what it should be
A part of the declaration written by the design theorist Benjamin H. Bratton and part of the syllabus will be used by the designer on how the design handles and interfere with the new norm and the city that is currently planned Explain the vision.
Bratton is a project director of the Strelka Architectural Media Design Institute in Moscow and is a generous futurist fortress in times and places of modern twists and turns. In this article we will outline a graduate think tank of Strlka's new teacher, which is an architect, a programmer, an interaction designer, a game designer, an artist, a philosopher, a movie producer, a novelist, an economist, and "open-air". Computer scientists They are studying with Keller Easterling, Lev Manovich, Metathaven (Vinca Kruk and Daniel Van Der Velden), Casey Reas, Liam Young and others.
The nature of constant contact in our lives is different from what we have previously encountered. In 20 years, we have gotten used to sudden new common sense. There is a (well known) cost on this new norm - we will reduce our actions, make our eyes tired and reduce our investment in real life. We will exchange this tradeoff with the blessings of high-speed Internet access: always available news, information, opinions, opinions, arts and entertainment. As a person who was born in the 1990s and grew in the 2000s, it is difficult to remember the world before the Internet, but I think that it is easier to concentrate at that point. Today, discipline is necessary to get on track. To complete the workload, you need to avoid notifications, find quiet rooms, social media, news media, e-mail, messaging apps, games, and all other content available on the internet.
Even impossible today or even impossible today may be new common sense after six months. Considering most of the world view as a starting point, the new norm is not so shocking. Surprise and destruction to every corner reminds people that the best way to move forward is to keep on moving.
Time brings new normals. Many of my new normals are similar to the old normals. I have two sons, I am married. I ran Plucky. I cook until late at night. However, there are still scars under the 1 or 2 inch hair on my head. There are also scars under the women who help to run families and businesses. I pray three times after turning off the light every evening. "Thank you for your life Thank you for your day." Thank you for your body. "I do not know the person praying, but I had some experience during the operation, and then I I was convinced many things. I am shy to learn to absorb it on my new normals.
