The New Frontier: A World Beneath Us

This month 's "The New Frontier" overlooks the world of the unknown cave and how the team can change the surface of the cave under us.

Taylor Woods, Coordinator of Northern Rock Caves, says: When I sat on a big rock in the "Cathedral" in the Rick Creek Cave south of Great Falls, he discussed what inspired him to enter the cave. "I would like to hand it over six years ago, when I came here for the first time, it was only destroyed by garbage, garbage and graffiti."

A group of people who began three years ago abandoned garbage and it developed into a weekend event with the help of forest services, the US Department of Agriculture and several private companies in Montana.

"I do it once a year, but it does not appear when the amount of garbage increases or when I start these projects," Woods says. "Today, I did not see the garbage at all."

Graffiti is one of the biggest problems right now and it is difficult to clean up as not all of this is done by boring teenagers seeking what to do.

For example, scientists and biologists actually enter the cave during the day and give names, so you may not be able to remove graffiti.

"... the cave is its own ecosystem.We are now keeping many bats.We are trying very well to take care of bats."

But despite all the work he is doing, Woods does not think he is changing the world; he just does the right thing.

As a member of the cave, if I feel he is responsible for clearing Lick Creek Cave, I will ask him

Woods replied: "Personally, this is not a fact, I would like to do this, it is a good habit to accept it rather than as garbage."

"We have a really wonderful team, as this really exceeds the ability of people to dig deeper, to do what they do, and to do what they do."
