Creative myth (or creative story) is a cultural, traditional or religious myth that explains the earliest beginning of the world today. Creative myth is the most common form of myth, usually developed first through oral tradition and human culture. Creation myths are often not historical or literal, but are often thought of as those who convey deep truth. Though not always, they are often considered to be cosmic myths - they represent the order of the universe from a disordered state or disordered state.

Creative myth, also known as the cosmic myth, is a philosophical and theological detailed explanation of the first creation myth within the religious community. The term myths here refers to imaginative expressions in the narrative form of experiences and understandings as basic reality (see also myths). The word "creation" refers to the beginning of things from an ultimate source of information, or in other ways, from the intention and behavior of transcendental existence. The creation myth is a symbolic story of the origin of the world, as understood by a particular community. Later creationism was based on the subsequent history and community needs. Thus, for example, all theology and speculation about the Christian community is based on the Bible Genesis and creation myths created by Jesus Christ.
