The Monuments Men

Approximately 5 million religious, cultural, historical art and archaeological works were returned by the memorials, a group of men and women in the arts and archive department, and returned to their legal owners ( Monument Man: Art of Saving Europe: Overview 1). After the termination of hostility, hundreds of monumental men and women stayed in Germany, Austria, Italy, Japan for several years to coordinate the stolen art and other relics back to the stolen country. We also held temporary art exhibitions and concerts that played an important role in the cultural life of countries influenced by Europe and Japan.
