The Mission

The cross of light next to a red brick building declares the name commonly used to refer to "Jesus Relief", the rescue mission of Denver, the oldest and full-service Christian charity in the Rocky Mountains . Many people do not know their name. They may not know their real names, but they know their function in the community; they provide evacuation centers and meeting rooms for poor people and homeless at Denver Street. In the mission, people will find places to take a shower, hot meals per gospel worship, biblical lessons, dental clinics and clinics, clothing and counselors.

From the beginning, this work was meant to be very specific. Become a missionary church, become a community paying attention to the common gospel among those who can not ultimately be reached, existence, trust and meaningful declaration among unreached people. Missionaries are not primarily terms for evangelism, relevance, participation in social justice, or caring efforts. This is a word from the new self-understanding as a missionary of God, all of the attitude of the church, the view of the world, the principles of organization, priority and arrangement.

All expressions in the church have leadership as missionaries and missionaries must have imaginative imagination. There is no church church without imagination, it can identify what God is doing in the world, imagine possible ways to participate in this mission, and encourage people to take action. Evangelical leaders invite, encourage, equip, lead, and cooperate with other people when critical of God's evangelism. (Anderson 2008: 194) Imagination rich imagination is the ability to think, the ability to look back on tasks, and the way missions are taught or involved in a particular environment. It distinguishes God's role in the context and provides the power to participate in the mission of God. What I would like to point out here is that whatever gift you give, you have to cultivate and develop. Jesus Christ did not send his disciples until they realized that they had received sufficient training and education.
