The Metropolitan Police Force

The Metropolitan Police Department became the main turning point of the Metropolitan Police Department in 1829. Secretary of the Interior, Sir Robert Peale established the Metropolitan Police Department. They have three important responsibilities. Prevent crime, solve crime and deal with political protests (riots). The nickname of Metropolitan Police Force is "Peelers" or "Bobbies". They patrolled the streets and saw their troubles. One of their duties is to handle sickness, vagrants, jealousy, prostitutes. Solving the big messs such as riots is another problem.

Many law enforcement agency duties were left to the military. By 1829, the City of London founded a military police independent of the military. The first state police in the United States was the Texas Rangers (founded in 1853). Many of the border enforcement in the United States are voluntary, which also makes compliance with the law voluntary as well. Police pointed out that their work has undergone significant changes under various political regulations. Whether it is reducing theft, reducing white-collar crime, or pursuing drug sales, the agenda of the government will affect police's goals. The overall strategy they adopted changed their daily lives. Although large cities have expanded police force, the overall occupation of the entire century is expected to be later than other occupations.

In 1829, Secretary of the United Kingdom Secretary Robert Peale founded the first Metropolitan Police Station, the modern police station.
