The Meaning of Pecola´s Beauty

Pecola eventually became isolated at the edge of the town, and she lost her contact with reality so she lost herself in a crazy world. She realized that if she tried to change her appearance, she would not appreciate it. She lacks confidence in desiring a young woman.
